Birthdays, Injurys, and Late Nights!

Last week on April 23d, we celebrated my brother Britton's 10th Birthday! It was SUPER fun, even though we were in quarantine. We had a DELICIOUS Churro Cake, that was so addicting. I have to admit it probably was my favorite part of the day. We had crepes for breakfast, and hamburgers for his birthday dinner. I gave him as a present a poster board that had a cut out of his face attached to a super hero costume. I think it turned out awesome! We played outside in the evening, and then stayed up late watching "Ant-Man" It turned out to be a great day. The next night we slept in the TV room, and watched Mulan and America's Funniest home videos until we crashed. It was a good night even though I was a teeny bit uncomfortable. Here's where things get interesting. On Saturday  I was roller blading in the drive way with my siblings. I wasn't wearing any padding because I had let my brother use mine. I hadn't fallen even once, until I tripped over some flowers and fell flat on my face. I was bleeding like crazy. Blood was on my hands, my pants, y sweater, and I thought that my teeth had been knocked out. (Luckily they didn't) My wrist took a lot of it, and has been really sore. I hope I haven't damaged it to bad. My nose took a lot of trauma but luckily I think I'm ok. I think. Anyway, that's an update on my currently quarantined life.

Weirdness

Hello, friends and family, and whoever else might be viewing this. I'm excited to start writing and expressing my feelings to you on this blog. Things I will be writing will include simple things that have happened during my day, and experiences throughout my life. I am starting this blog as an 11 year old girl who is sitting in her Fortress of Solitude(My House),while the world is on total lockdown during the Coronavirus pandemic. I am supposed to be at school right now, but the virus has shut down school, church, and any "non-life sustaining businesses." I have been extremely bored the past few days, and I'm starting to feel claustrophobic considering the fact that we are supposed to stay in our homes and "socially distance ourselves." So that is the main reason I started this blog. This is definitely an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. I've tried entertaining myself by drawing, reading, playing outside, and currently this. My...

My Mom

I hope everyone had an AWESOME Mothers Day. So today I'm going to talk about my mom and my Mothers Day. My mom is truly amazing. She is so kind and hardworking, and always perseveres even when times are hard. Especially in these times. My mom has taken on the responsibility of a teacher and has had to continue her normal duties at home, constantly helping us in our every need. Having to parent me and 3 wild boys. Making custom dinners for picky eaters. Cleaning and maintaining our home. Our mothers deserve our love and appreciation and I hope that you care for them not only on mothers day, but all of the time. I love my mom with all of my heart, and I hope you all do too. We had a fun mothers day at my house. We ate pie, magic cookie bars, and pie. We watched Season 18 of the voice. We did home church. It was a great mothers day, and I'm now looking forward to fathers day. Have a good week!

Feeling Crazy, But Blessed

Me and my CRAZY but cute brothers!  Day 14 of Quarantine. I've literally driven myself crazy. I’ve just recently gotten the news that the earliest I will be going back to school  is April 20th. This to me is really weird. I miss my teacher and friends all ready, and now I have to wait maybe even longer than April 20th. This has been definitely the most crazy experience of my life, and I will never forget it. Even though this has been really hard, I can't help but realize how blessed I am. This pandemic could have been so much worse, not that it isn't horrible already. I have a loving family  who are taking the necessary precautions to keep us safe. I have the option to go outside, ride my bike, and hang out with my family. Speaking of family, here are a couple stories of things my little brothers have done this quarantined break: A couple of days ago, I was talking to my friend Lydia on the phone, because I hadn't seen her in a long time. My mom will usual...
